1. General Overview

These terms and conditions govern all services, technical surveys, quotations, and bifold door installations supplied by Bifold Doors Liverpool ("Company") to customers across Liverpool and Merseyside.

2. Quotations & Surveys

All online price estimates are indicative. Final binding contracts are issued following a technical survey conducted by our surveyor to verify aperture dimensions, lintel integrity, and threshold drainage requirements.

3. Manufacture & Delivery Timelines

Custom aluminium and uPVC bifold doors are custom manufactured to your specifications. Standard manufacturing timelines are 2 to 3 weeks from contract confirmation. Delivery and installation schedules will be confirmed upon manufacture completion.

4. 25-Year Guarantee Terms

Our 25-year written guarantee covers structural aluminium extrusions, powder-coated finishes against flaking or discolouration under normal atmospheric conditions, and stainless steel roller tracking systems. Glass seal failures are covered under manufacturer warranty for 10 years.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for ensuring clear, safe access to the installation area on agreed fitting days and confirming whether local authority planning permission or building warrant approvals apply to listed properties.

All online price estimates provided via this website or over the telephone are indicative and subject to final technical survey. A binding contract is formed only when a formal written contract detailing final manufacturing dimensions, glass specifications, and payment schedules is signed by both the customer and Bifold Doors Liverpool.

2. Surveying & Manufacturing Tolerances

Custom bifold door sets are bespoke items manufactured precisely to opening measurements confirmed during our final technical survey. The customer or their appointed building contractor is responsible for ensuring structural lintels, opening apertures, and finished floor levels comply with the agreed technical survey drawing before installation day.

3. Guarantee & Warranty Conditions

Our 25-year structural frame guarantee covers aluminium extrusions against structural failure, mechanical track defect, and powder coat flaking under normal domestic usage. Sealed glass units carry a 10-year warranty against breakdown of hermetic seals resulting in internal condensation. Hardware, locks, and handles carry a 5-year mechanical warranty.

4. Payment Terms & Lead Times

Standard retail orders require a deposit upon order confirmation to commence custom fabrication, with the remaining balance due upon satisfactory installation completion. Manufacturing lead times are typically 10 to 14 working days for stock RAL colours and 21 to 28 working days for custom dual-colour orders.
